(B) 9:28@60kg. Found this much harder then i thought i would. The 60kg Power Snatch felt heavy, did the first 10 Unbroken though. Did all the OHS Unbroken. TTB were unbroken first round then starting to break them up. But the power snatches, 1 at a time rounds 2 & 3. I was thinking before today that i need to dial my fuel in a bit more to maintain the training program. The nightly vodka nightcap went last week. The zone is kicking off this week. Been 90% paleo for a while now with limited carb intake. But it's time to get some more fuel in.
Anyone else finding the training physically demanding?
i have only trained a few times a week for the last few weeks so have not been able to follow the program (although i really like the look of it). it does look tough. question for HC, if the volume/intensity is wearing you down, how would you reduce the load without losing the main objective of the current programming. by that i mean is it better to miss a squatting session, do power versions rather than full versions or drop some conditioning?
B Sq - 60, 65, 74, 79 failed on rep 5 of the last set. That happened to me last Monday too, not happy! F Sq - 45, 50, 55, 60
WOD @ 25kgs & Sub'd TTR- 5:44 Thought I was going to make sub 5 but TTR need some serious work. No grip strength!
Sit-ups all good, all rounds sub 35secs.
Nutrition is a hot topic in my mind at the moment too, I generally eat well at the start of the week (except for my chocolate addiction) and fall to pieces around Thurs. This def effects my training and energy levels. It has such an obvious effect but I do it every week! Just need to be more prepared.

Jody, I have been thinking I need to actually just start trying with my nutrition. Lol. Last week was hard for me.

WOD
Scaled 15kg and TTR

TTB STILL aggravates my shoulder :-(

ReplyDeleteFront Squat: 75, 87, 93, 100

Hopeless result. Nothing went right for me. Power Snatch and OHS was heavy and lost my kip on the TTB. No where near the 5 minute cap that was set.
