Well Bigfella we have another LabRat as a
ReplyDeleteNumbered athlete
You have come a long way from the first days
that I recall you coming in,It's been great having
you push me each morning.
Some amazing stats that you should be proud
of.
O yeah I'm glad my teeth r in good nick
ReplyDeleteBrendan!! :D
ReplyDeleteyou stats are awesome!
you are improving sooo much every time i read your posts on the blog they just keep getting better.
i remember the first day i met you, you were doing WB's and u smashed the white board marker stand off you made me LMAO.
your a great athlete:)
Well done Brendan your great value to have around. Those lushes long legs would look great in a short white uniform!!
ReplyDeletewhat makes the stats even more impressive is the distance the bar actually has to travel. the wingspan of an A380. good man brendan.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Brendan. Awesome numbers big fella. I remember the early days when you were happy to get 1 pull up out Rxd. You've come a long way and I'm sure theres plenty to come still.
ReplyDeleteGreat Work Brendan, you are a great athlete your stats prove it, and you achieve it all with your quiet determination and your modest way. Your sense of humour is right up my street and as well as amaze me with your achievements you never cease to make me laugh. I am just glad you`re not a gynocologist with the size of your hands. LOL
ReplyDeleteBrendan's introduction to CFP came via his wife Kim. I remember her coming in on a Thursday if i recall correct & she had only one question "Where do i sign" & as quick as that he was on board. She was firm & to the point. He would start Monday & dont be soft on him. Oh & he was really tall.
ReplyDeleteWell Monday came & as Coach Burg would say "OMG" he is tall.
From a CrossFit Athletes point of view, i thought this will be interesting as there is not a lot of movements within CrossFit that are kind to anyone over 6.4. Anyone thats done this for a while will agree when I say that genetics & athletical ability possibly play a smaller role than that of the mental side that is required in CrossFit. Well let me say that I honestly think Brendan has not missed a scheduled session of his since he started & has continued to work on things that have troubled him since day one. As he has progressed, he has conquered a lot of things & more doors have opened for him in terms of new challenges. He is easilly Coached &
He displays all the qualities we look for in a numbered Athlete at CFP & CFS.Although he is a quiet guy but When we talk of these attributes we want in a numbered Athlete "He just gets it!"
Congratulations Brendan
I joked at another Games Day once that, If aliens ever invaded earth that you would want a bunch of CrossFitters to defend it... Well, if I was picking 50 people to fight them, I would Definetly have Brenden in the mix.
What a great athlete. I agree with 100% of what was said. Even the stuff about you being tall haha
ReplyDeleteOne of my fav times was just recently at Gosford. Having Brendan in the workouts right next to me made a huge difference. His energy is so uplifting.
Thanks mate, keep on being an awesome athlete.
Go Brendan! You are an amazingly dedicated Lab Rat, and a bloody awesome athlete. I remember when you used to really struggle with pullups, and now you just rip em out! Woo hoo!
