How do you define success in CrossFit? Is it coming first in a WOD, Doing one as requested for the first time, or even turning up every week, or something else??
For me it is completing the WOD with the best form you have, knowing you left nothing in the tank, that you know you could not have possibly pushed yourself harder in those moments of time.
Sucess in crossfit is: More intensity, less time = results. Reults to me = success.
From the home grown athelete, to the stay at home mum. So long as each individual is achieving more work, less time and results then in my eyes, that is success. Success that is not questionable. No matter of place you came in a WOD, Scaled or un-scaled etc etc.
Constantly improving and striving to improve. An extra rep, an extra kilo, time of a WOD, better skills, more efficient movement, they all represent PROGRESSION.

CrossFit success for me is when athletes from CFP surpass their own expectations. Improving an individuals self belief is a rush like no other drug.
ReplyDeleteOne word: PROGRESSION

PROGRESSION = SUCCESS.
CrossFit success for me is deciding where you want to be in a month, 6 months a year and taking the steps necessary to reach it.
